List of the most beautiful Insel Bucherei books
I’m not sure exactly when I first became aware of the Insel Bucherei book series, probably during a visit to Frankfurt in 2022.
I thought about going after the full set briefly until I learned that there are something like 2,000 books in total. Collecting a defined series of books can be fun.
I’ve always liked the King Penguins which were modelled on Insel.
Seventy six were published in total. I’ve only picked up a few over the years. It was Britain in Picture that I really went to town on.
